Passivation and stabilization of the inner wall reduce the carbonaceous residue to less than 0.06 mg/dm², well below the limits of EN 1057. Added value in terms of reliability and durability.

SMISOL®Tekgas is the copper pipe manufactured according to EN 1057, lined in the production stage with a special polyethylene sheath with a low-density closed-cell structure, manufactured in the sizes required by UNI 7129. Due to the peculiarity of the coating, which is continuously coextruded on the copper tube, and the presence of spacers wound helically with respect to the axis of the tube, it is particularly suitable for the transport of liquid and gaseous fuels. The spacers ensure that the conduit has an inner diameter 10 mm larger than the outer diameter of the pipe. This geometric peculiarity allows the pipe to be used for crossing walls and floors without the addition of an additional metal sheathing in full compliance with UNI 7129-1:2015, which states in Section 4.6.3.4.1: "In the crossing of perimeter and exterior walls, solid bricks, hollow bricks and prefabricated panels, the gas adduction pipe shall have no joints except for the inlet and outlet joint and shall be protected with a gas-impermeable through-ventilated sheathing. The conduit may be indifferently metal or polymeric material; the conduit shall have an inner diameter of not less than 10 mm with respect to the outer diameter of the pipe." This pipe can be laid under trace even in critical situations where the walls contain cavities (e.g. perforated bricks) this is always possible thanks to the polymeric sheath that continuously wraps the copper pipe, remember that the sheath has an internal diameter 10 mm greater than the external diameter of the pipe carrying the combustible fluid, during installation it is sufficient to drown SMISOL® Tekgas in 15 mm of cement mortar to comply with the provisions of UNI 7129-1:2015 point 4.5.5.6 and point 4.5.5.7. The helical pattern of the spacers ensures that the gap between the pipe and sheath remains constant even in 90° bends, avoiding crushing, so in cases of leakage, the danger of gas pockets forming is averted. The in-line coating process ensures high malleability, which is superior to similar products on the market. In order to preserve this unique feature, SMISOL® Tekgas rolls have a very large winding diameter, which, with the features already described, make it a practical and particularly professional product at the same time. In addition, for the protection of the end consumer, in accordance with EU Regulation 305/2011 for Construction Products (CPR), EN1057-compliant copper tubes produced by SCT are CE marked. Further assurance of compliance with current regulations is provided by obtaining the UNI-IGQ Quality Mark.
