Closed-cell PE foam sheathing complies with REG. (EU) 2024/590, free of CFCs and HCFCs, with corrugated green polyethylene protective film. The cladding is classified BL-s1-d0 according to EN 13501-1, for added safety in case of fire.



Chemical treatment applied to the inner wall creates a stable barrier that preserves the quality of transported water. With a carbonaceous residue < 0.06 mg/dm², well below EN 1057 limits, it complies with European Directive 2020/2184/EU for water intended for human consumption.


The inline-applied coating adheres completely to the pipe wall, eliminating gaps and maintaining constant insulation performance. High malleability simplifies laying. Compliant with EU Regulation 305/2011 (CPR) and UNI-IGQ certified.


Proven bacteriostatic properties make it ideal for sanitary water networks, contributing to the prevention of Legionnaires' disease. The patented passivation treatment guarantees a carbonaceous residue < 0.06 mg/dm², in line with EN 1057 and European Directive 2020/2184/EU. Complies with M.D. 174/04 for materials in contact with potable water.


SMISOL® One is a seamless drawn copper tube conforming to EN 1057, pre-insulated during production with closed-cell expanded polyethylene, characterized by a uniform and regular structure. The insulation sheathing is further protected by an outer polyethylene film that improves mechanical strength and durability during installation. The product is suitable for the distribution of heat-carrying fluids inside heated rooms and complies with the insulation requirements of the national regulations on the containment of energy consumption (Law 10/91 and subsequent updates, now implemented by Legislative Decree 192/2005, as amended, and its implementing decrees). The insulation sheathing is made in compliance with European environmental regulations (Reg. (EU) 2024/590), turning out to be totally free of CFCs and HCFCs. The in-line production process ensures perfect adhesion of the insulation to the outer wall of the copper pipe, preventing the formation of air gaps that would reduce the efficiency of the thermal insulation. Direct coextrusion on the pipe also ensures high malleability and ease of installation, even in complex routes. In accordance with EU Regulation 305/2011 (CPR), EN 1057-compliant copper tubes are CE marked.
The manufacturing process ensures absolute adherence of the insulating sheath to the outer wall of the copper pipe, so as to avoid the formation of gaps that adversely affect the thermal insulation capacity. The production process of the pipe, coated directly on the line, ensures the absolute malleability of the product and ease of installation. In addition, for the protection of the end consumer, in accordance with EU Regulation 305/2011 for Construction Products (CPR), EN1057 copper tubes produced by SCT are CE marked. Further assurance of compliance with current regulations is provided by obtaining the UNI-IGQ Quality Mark.
Thermal conductivity : λ ≤0.038 W/m°K at 40°C. Average density of the coating: 33 kg/m3 Min. coating thickness: 6 mm (9 mm for diameter 22 x 1 mm) continuously checked by laser gauge. Free of ammonia residues. Excellent resistance to external chemical agents Non-flammable class BL-s1-d0 according to EN 13501-1 CFC- and HCFC-free REG. (EU) 2024/590.
Seamless drawn copper tube, manufactured according to EN 1057, physical state annealed R220, phosphorus deoxidized Cu DHP (Cu + Ag: 99.90% min. - P: 0.015÷0.040%) according to EN 1412, prepassivation treatment of the inner surface of the tube with carbonaceous residue less than 0.06 mg/dm2, indelible marking every 60 cm with punching of the outer surface of the copper tube, coated at the production stage with RAL 6029 green color PE-LD closed-cell expanded sheath, protected by green RAL 6029-colored PE film, thermal conductivity λ ≤ 0.038 W/mk, ink marking on the outer surface of the sheath with progressive metrication, with SMISOL® One mark, fire behavior of Class BL-s1-d0 according to EN 13501-1.
