SMISOL® Clim Duo

Practical and professional

SMISOL® Clim Duo is a system of two coupled annealed copper pipes designed for the air conditioning industry. Made according to EN 12735-1 and pre-insulated with closed-cell polyethylene foam sheathing, it is protected externally by a white corrugated film. The shiny, dry, clean inner surface ensures safe transport of refrigerants, while the factory-sealed ends preserve product integrity until installation. The insulation, which is free of CFCs and HCFCs, complies with Regulation (EU) no. 1005/2009 and has a fire reaction class BL-s1-d0.

The insulated pipe connection system allows for easy and tool-free interconnection, facilitating quick installation. SMISOL® Clim Duo pipes are an innovative solution in the field of ACR connections, combining efficiency, safety and ease of use on the construction site. The original in-line coating process allows for superior malleability compared to similar products on the market, placing it at the top of its class. This specific feature is safeguarded by a roll radius kept wider so as not to alter the malleability characteristics of the product. This copper pipe is distinguished by its evenly sized and evenly distributed closed-cell polyethylene foam insulation lining in accordance with EN 15758:2016. Designed for optimal performance, the insulation sheathing is made in accordance with European Ordinance Reg. (EU) 2024/590. This regulation requires the use of expanded insulation sheathing free of CFCs and HCFCs, chemicals recognized as harmful to health and the environment. The thickness of the sheath is carefully sized to meet different requirements in the field of installations while ensuring safety and high performance.
