Key Features

SMISOL Clim Aeterna® represents a significant step forward in the field of air conditioning systems. This copper pipe, manufactured in accordance with EN 12735-1, is distinguished by its insulating coating of evenly sized and uniformly distributed closed-cell polyethylene foam in accordance with EN 14114. Designed for optimal performance, the insulation sheathing is made in accordance with European Regulation Reg (EU) 2024/590. This regulation requires the use of expanded insulation sheathing free of CFCs and HCFCs, chemicals recognized as harmful to health and the environment. The sheath thickness is carefully sized to meet different requirements in the field of plant engineering, while ensuring safety and high performance.

Coating characteristics

Thermal conductivity: λ ≤ 0.038 W/m°C at 40°C. Average value of water vapor diffusion resistance factor "μ" > 40,000. Fire Behavior: BLs1d0 (EN 13501-1) Increased UV resistance. Average density of the coating: 30 kg/m3. Free of ammonia residues. Excellent resistance to external chemicals. CFC- and HCFC-free (Reg. (EU) 2024/590. Halogen-free flame retardant.
